DAY 01 – GAYA/PATNA – BODHGAYA

Arrive at Gaya/Patna Airport or Railway Station, proceed towards your pre-booked hotel at Bodhgaya. Finish the check-in formalities and relax. Evening is free to visit nearby places and market area, back to Hotel. Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.

DAY 02 – BODHGAYA SIGHTSEEING

After a healthy breakfast, start for your trip to Bodhgaya. Visit Mahabodhi Temple Complex – houses the famous Mahabodhi Temple/Stupa built by Ashoka the Great in 3rd Century BC. There are seven sacred and essential places where Lord Buddha spent seven days each at one place after attaining enlightenment. Inside the Mahabodhi Temple complex, you can also enjoy the Lotus Pond or the mation garden. Bodhgaya has temples or monasteries from many other nations like SriLanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar; all within easy walking distance from the temple. Visit the Sacred Bodhi Tree. Later visit, Sujata Village – the young lady Sujata, daughter of Senani (Head of Uruvela village), had offered Kheer to Siddhartha. Overnight stay at Hotel in Bodhgaya.

DAY 03 – RAJGIR & NALANDA EXCURSION

Post breakfast, start same day excursion to Rajgir and Nalanda. Visit Gridhrakuta, Sapataparni Cave, Bimbisar Jail, Ajatsatru Fort and Venuvana. After lunch on the way, transfer to Nalanda. On arrival, visit the age old Nalanda University, founded in the 5th century. Also, See Monasteries and Temples with impressive Buddhist and Hindu images. Drive back to Hotel. Overnight Stay at Bodhgaya.

DAY 04 – BODHGAYA – GAYA/PATNA DEPARTURE

On the last day of your trip, after breakfast, depart for Gaya/Patna to be dropped at Railway Station / Airport for your Return / Onward journey.
