DAY 01 – KOCHI ARRIVAL
On arrival at Kochi (also known as Cochin) Airport / Ernakulam Railway Junction, meet our local guide & driver. Transfer to hotel. Relax & overnight stay at Kochi.
DAY 02 – KOCHI – MUNNAR
Checkout of your hotel post breakfast and head to Munnar – an enchanting hill station in Keralam. Sitting gracefully at an elevation of 1600 metres; the endless rolling hills, ridiculously gorgeous surroundings, lush greenery and obviously great weather are some of the reasons that make Munnar one of the most popular hill towns of India. En-route visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, Blossom Park and Pothemedu View Point. Overnight stay at Munnar.
DAY 03 – MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast go for a Munnar tour. Visit Kundala Lake, Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam. You may enjoy speed boating here. Visit Pothamedu Viewpoint – catch a stunning sunset over coffee, cardamom, and tea plantations here. End your day at Kalari Kshethra with traditional performances: Kathakali (5 PM – 6 PM) followed by Kalaripayattu martial arts (6 PM – 7 PM). Overnight stay at Munnar.
DAY 04 – MUNNAR – THEKKADY
After Breakfast Check out from the Hotel & proceed to Thekkady through a scenic journey covering approximately 91–105 km through Keralam’s Western Ghats. En-route enjoy Lockhart Gap Viewpoint. Stop here for panoramic views of the Bison Valley and surrounding hills. Periyakanal Falls or SN Waterfalls. Catch a glimpse of these roadside cascades, which are particularly vibrant after the monsoon. Rock Cave – a unique natural rock formation located along the highway. Stop over at Vandanmedu – known for biggest cardamom plantation in India and Pooppara – a serene, scenic village known for mist-covered hills, tea & spice plantations. Upon reaching Thekkady, check into your hotel and head to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary & experience a Boat Safari on the lake. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
DAY 05 – THEKKADY – VAGAMON
Today, after breakfast check out of your hotel and proceed towards Vagamon – a Hill Station located in the Western Ghats at 1,100 metres (3,600 ft) above sea level. En-route visit the historic Pattumalai Church and stop for photos at the tea gardens in Elappara. Check-in to your pre-booked Resort at Vagamon. Later you may visit Elaveezha Poonchira, which is a lake filled with flowers. Later, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Vagamon.
DAY 06 – VAGAMON SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast get ready for sightseeing in Vagamon at various locations like Vagamon Meadows (Mottakunnu), rolling green hills often compared to classic landscapes. Vagamon Falls – Officially called Palozhukumpara, these waterfalls are close to the lower Pine Forest and can be nicely combined with a visit of the Vagamon Pine Forest. Kurisumala Hill or Thangal Para for panoramic valley views. Return to your Resort for overnight stay.
DAY 07 – VAGAMON TO ALLEPPEY [HOUSEBOAT STAY]
Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Upon arrival, board A traditional Kettuvallam (houseboat) at noon for a backwater cruise and for an overnight stay. While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual-skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Overnight stay in a houseboat.
DAY 08 – ALLEPPEY – KOCHI DEPARTURE
On your final day of this trip, Check out early in the morning after having breakfast. Subject to availability of time, you may avail Kochi sightseeing covering Fort Cochin, The Navy Museum, St. Francis Church, The Chinese Fishing Net, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Mattanchery Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Marine Drive, Marine Walkway, Tripunithura Hill Palace. (Or) If interested, can go for a shopping at Kochi. Get a drop to Kochi Airport / Ernakulam Railway Junction for your return onward journey.
