DAY 01 – BAGDOGRA/NJP – DARJEELING
Meet & Greet at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station. Welcome to the land of 4 T’s – Tea, Tourism, Transport & Timber. Start your journey towards Darjeeling (6710 ft.). After a picturesque journey through misty mountains reach your destination, at the – Queen of Hills. Check-in to hotel and move out to explore Darjeeling MALL & Mahakal Temple – situated atop the Darjeeling Mall. Pip out at Caventers or at Glenarys- to take a sip of Coffee, Doughnuts, or a bite of yummy Sausages. Return to hotel. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
DAY 02 – DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Today early in the morning (3.30 am) – go out to visit Tiger Hill, its a destination by itself offering not just great views during sunrise; it’s a place where you can soak yourself with Himalayan serenity anytime during the day. Later visit World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop with The War Memorial on your way back. It is fascinating to watch the toy train with its way round the loop. A glorious view of snowy peak and town can be seen from this place. Return to your hotel for freshen up & breakfast. Then proceed to visit Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden and The Darjeeling Ropeway, also known as the Rangeet Valley Cable Car, is India’s first cable car system, connecting Singamari in Darjeeling to Singla Bazaar. You may also enjoy Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), is a UNESCO World Heritage (The Darjeeling Toy Train Joy Ride) offering iconic, slow-paced journeys through breathtaking tea gardens and mist-covered mountains. It operates diesel and steam rides, primarily on the Darjeeling-Ghum route.
DAY 03 – MIRIK EXCURSION
Today after you are done with your breakfast , start for a full day excursion trip to Mirik Lake (4,900 ft.) via Indo-Nepal Border (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pashupati Market). Mirik is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake, Cardamom plantations and Tea Estates. A rich forest with thousands of Japanese Cedar (Cryptomaria-Japanica) trees clothe the slopes, zig-zag foot-walk takes you along the lake – a sleek foot bridge connects the garden on the east with the woods on the west. Alone or in company, you are sure to enjoy a boat-ride in the lake. In the evening return to your hotel in Darjeeling. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
DAY 04 – DARJEELING – BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP RAILWAY STATION DEPARTURE
After your breakfast check out from hotel and take the departure transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
