DAY 01 – BAGDOGRA/NJP – GANGTOK
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and start for Gangtok – the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. En Route, pause at the Coronation Bridge for photos, or the Teesta River View Point for refreshments and views of the valley. Check into your hotel and take a leisurely walk at MG Marg – Gangtok’s main pedestrian shopping street. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 02 – GANGTOK – LACHUNG
After breakfast pick up from hotel and transfer to Lachung (8,800 ft). En-route visit Singhik View Point, Seven Sister Water Fall, Naga Water Fall, and arrive Lachung by evening. Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at Lachung.
DAY 03 – YUMTHANG VALLEY EXPLORATION
Post breakfast, proceed to visit Yumthang Valley – known as the “Valley of Flowers,” this alpine meadow is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and features vibrant rhododendrons (in spring) and hot springs. You may also visit Yumesamdong – popularly known as “Zero Point” on the same day. The literal end of the motorable road near the Chinese border. At 15,000 ft, it is almost permanently snow-covered, offering a raw, high-altitude desert experience. Visit the 19th-century Lachung Monastery to conclude the day. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 04 – LACHUNG – GANGTOK
Check-out of your hotel & start early for Gangtok to avoid the traffic & road blockage. Arrive Gangtok by late evening. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 05 – TSOMGO LAKE-NEW BABA MANDIR-NATHU LA EXCURSION
After a sumptuous breakfast visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) – sits high in the mountains, a glacial lake that changes its shade with the seasons, creating a magical atmosphere. Surrounded by rugged peaks and often wrapped in mist or snow, it is one of Sikkim’s most enchanting natural spots. & Baba Mandir (Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial) (13,200 ft.). You may also visit Nathu La (pass) on the same day on prior request (minimum 5 days) & issuance of the PAP (Protected Area Permit) from the Indian Army. Nathu La – stands tall at the Indo-China border, offering travelers a dramatic high-altitude experience. The icy winds, Himalayan peaks, and historical significance make the journey thrilling and memorable. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
DAY 06 – GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower Exhibition Centre – Ridge Park, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 07 – GANGTOK – PELLING VIA NAMCHI & RAVANGLA
After breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to Pelling via Namchi covering Sai Mandir and Char Dham for spiritual enlightenment. The Char Dham is a temple complex with replicas of four highly revered Hindu pilgrimage sites and a giant statue of Lord Shiva. Then head to Ravangla & explore the Tathagata Tsal (Buddha Park), home to a massive 130-foot gilded bronze Buddha statue set against the Himalayan peaks. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
DAY 08 – PELLING SIGHTSEEING
After a delightful breakfast start for full day sightseeing. On 1st Half tour, visit Darap Village, Rimbi Orange Garden & Rimbi water Falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha Waterfalls. In the afternoon start for 2nd half tour & cover Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. Also enjoy the spectacular Skywalk. Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Pelling.
DAY 09 – PELLING – BAGDOGRA/NJP DEPARTURE
On the concluding day of your trip, check-out of your hotel post breakfast & drive back to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station airport or railway station for your return journey.
