DAY 01 – JAMMU ARRIVAL – KATRA
Your journey begins with a pick-up from Jammu Railway Station or Jammu Airport. If time permits, visit the Raghunath Temple or Bahu Fort in Jammu before heading to Katra. A smooth drive takes you to Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. As you reach Katra, Check into your hotel and collect your Yatra Parchi (Registration Card). Overnight stay in Katra.
DAY 02 – VAISHNO DEVI DARSHAN
Start early today to maximise the day. Reach Banganga – the first checkpost. Begin the 12–14 km trek from Banganga. Visit the Ardhkuwari Cave and then proceed to the Bhawan for Darshan of the holy Pindies. You may also visit the Bhairon Nath Temple via cable car or trek, which is considered essential to complete the pilgrimage. Return to Katra by late evening/night for a restful sleep.
DAY 03 – KATRA – AMRITSAR
After breakfast, depart for. Reach Amritsar by afternoon and settle into your hotel. In the evening, visit the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) to see it beautifully illuminated. You can also witness the Palki Sahib ceremony. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
DAY 04 – AMRITSAR SIGHTSEEING
Post breakfast, begin your tour of Amritsar. Visit Jallianwala Bagh and The Partition Museum to learn about India’s history. If time permits, visit Gobindgarh Fort and Durgiana Temple too. Post lunch, drive to the Wagah-Attari Border to witness the patriotic Beating Retreat Ceremony. Return to the city and spend your evening at leisure or you may shop for Phulkari dupattas and Punjabi Juttis at Hall Bazaar. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
DAY 05 – AMRITSAR DEPARTURE
Check-out of your hotel post breakfast and proceed to take a drop at Amritsar Railway Station or Airport for your return journey.
