DAY 01 – NJP/HASIMARA/NEW ALIPURDUAR/BAGDOGRA – JALDAPARA
Your trip begins with your arrival, meet our representative at Railway Station or Airport. Drive through scenic highway routes surrounded by lush tea patches to reach Madarihat (the gateway to Jaldapara). If time permits visit the South Khayerbari Leopard Rescue Centre. Take a battery-operated car ride inside this unique rehabilitation forest to see rescued Leopards and Royal Bengal Tigers in natural open enclosures. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.
DAY 02 – JALDAPARA ADVENTURES
Early Morning experience the famous Jaldapara Elephant Safari starting from the Hollong range. Ride through dense, misty elephant grass to spot the majestic Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros, herds of elephants, gaur (Indian bison), and barking deer. Post-Breakfast Take a day excursion to Chilapata Forest. Explore the deep woods that form a natural elephant corridor between Jaldapara and Buxa. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.
DAY 03 – JALDAPARA – LATAGURI VIA MURTI
Today Check out from your Jaldapara hotel and drive towards Lataguri. Spend an hour at the peaceful Murti River Bed en route. It is a shallow, crystal-clear river flowing against a backdrop of dense green hills—a perfect spot for photography and birdwatching. Check into your Lataguri resort. In the late afternoon, enjoy an adventurous Gorumara Jeep Safari. Drive deep inside the Sal canopy to watch wildlife from the Jatraprasad or Rhino Observation watchtowers. Overnight stay at Lataguri.
DAY 04 – JHALONG & BINDU EXCURSION
Post breakfast head towards Jhalong, located along the foothills of Bhutan on the banks of the Jaldhaka River. The area is known for its beautiful mountain landscapes and hydro-electric project dam. Drive further uphill to Bindu, the last village on the West Bengal-Bhutan border. Relax on the riverbed boulders where the view of the Bhutan hills meets the rushing waters of the Bindu river. A day well spent with the nature. Return by the evening to your Lataguri resort for overnight stay.
DAY 05 – SAMSING & SUNTALEYKHOLA EXPLORATION
Today travel towards Samsing, a gorgeous village known for its winding hilly roads, step-cultivated tea gardens, and orange orchards. Proceed 4-5 km ahead to Suntaleykhola (meaning “Orange Stream”). Cross a hanging footbridge over a rocky stream surrounded by absolute wilderness. On your way back, take a short halt at Rocky Island, a riverside campsite popular for its giant rock formations. Overnight stay at Lataguri.
DAY 06 – LATAGURI – NJP/BAGDOGRA DEPARTURE
On this concluding of your Dooars trip you may take a morning jungle walk or an early safari at Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary (Optional). Pack your bags, check out from the resort and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories.
